Felix the fantasy bot

Felix was a startup I joined and spearheaded during the year of 2020. The ultimate goal was to bring an app to market that gave you accurate fantasy football advice via a chat bot in a more fun, personal way. The app ultimately didn’t launch, but the lessons learned along the way were well worth the personal investment.

What was felix

My role at Felix was to utilize an account that was once a fantasy football based blog account, and make content that was engaging and informative, in an effort to build a base of followers that would buy into the MVP at launch. This set me up to make scheduled content in the season, and taught me scheduling and pre planning things for up to the date information (making templates for injury updates, stats that happened in the current game, etc.). Because of this scheduling, it also helped me keep my work life balance in a schedule.

The mark and the app

The mark I made in the second year of Felix combined all of the things we wanted the app to be: charming, informative, and bright. There was a shift to our social designs at that point as well, becoming brighter, and introducing more energy and color. At this point is when we started to develop the app, and although things fell apart during that part, the training in constant creation, designing in sports, and cultivating a little following online, are all reasons why I would do this again.
