50 album covers
In order to get back to my roots, I created album covers to return to my life when I first started creating with photoshop, while also combining what I have learned since then. It worked as a peaceful catharsis for me. It required research into what albums looked like, and how they appeal to people.
COFFEE TABLE BOOK
As a hobby, I collect coffee table books. I find that they are an excellent way to give info and act as a way to give somebody a deep dive into a subject. Therefore, it has been a dream of mine to make one of my own, and take on the challanges at hand. I am in the process of turning this into a book to add to my own collection, providing titles, artist names, track listings, and a brief description of what the album would feel like if it were to be made—sometimes providing a direct reference for someone to listen to.

I wanted to research and cover as many genres as possible to get out of my comfort zone. From 80’s Hip Hop to Country, I wanted to cover it all. These informed the type and image choices as I made the 50 album covers. Some would be trendy, while I wanted others to look as if they were coming out of an older age.
